Diamond Partners

Medtronic Spine and Biologics: Based in Memphis, Tennessee, Medtronic Spine is a leader in the field of minimally invasive spine surgery instrumentation. They have developed many of the key procedures used in minimally invasive spine surgery including the use of tubes and dilators instead of retractors that would otherwise crush muscle tissue. Their MAST platform includes one of the most comprehensive and advanced tools for minimally invasive surgery. Currently, Medtronic possesses the most advanced computer navigation system used specifically for minimally invasive spine surgery.

Depuy Spine: Originally started in Cleveland as Acromed, Depuy Spine is now a part of Johnson and Johnson. The first FDA-approved disk replacement device was developed by Depuy. They remain on the cutting edge of technology with their Pipeline and Viper2 minimally invasive systems. They are currently developing systems for complex spinal disorders such as scoliosis and deformity.

Interventional Spine®, Inc.: Interventional Spine®, Inc., is a very unique medical device company exclusively focused on the design, development and marketing of patented PERCUTANEOUS systems to treat lower back pain. Their products are intended to bridge the therapeutic continuum of conservative treatment for chronic pain to complex open surgery for debilitating pain. These least invasive options, some presently available for sale and some emerging into clinical use in the near future, are made available for the first time through Interventional Spine's technologies.Their products are intended to bring relief to back pain patients earlier in the treatment continuum, as open surgery is no longer driving the treatment decision process. Their goal is to shorten procedure times, lower complication rate, and minimize trauma when compared to open surgery.

Joimax, Inc.: Joimax has developed a number of “ENDOSCOPIC” spine systems such as TESSYS, which offer surgeons the ability to perform true minimally invasive spinal surgery through a single incision of only a few millimeters under a local anesthetic and on an outpatient basis. Clinical procedures currently treated with joimax’s systems include foraminal stenosis and disc herniations. They are also in the final stages of developing a complete line of products which will offer surgeons true minimally invasive surgery “ENDOSCOPIC” for the cervical spine.

The AxiaLIF® (Axial Lumbar Interbody Fusion) System includes surgical instruments for creating a safe and reproducible pre-sacral access route to the L5 - S1 vertebral bodies. The AxiaLIF® technique features novel instrumentation to enable standard of care fusion principles, distraction and stabilization of the anterior lumbar column while mitigating the soft tissue trauma associated with traditional lumbar fusion through open surgical incisions.
